7: How many Keurig coffee makers have been sold?
Through 2009, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR) provided Keurig sales when it reported its earnings each quarter. At the end of 2009, over 4 million brewers had been sold. Unfortunately, GMCR has stopped providing the sales numbers in their financial reports; however, by looking at the rate of growth of Keurig brewers since 2005, we estimate that over 7.5 million Keurig brewers have been sold to date.
