About Flavia

Created by Mars, Inc. (the candy company), the first Flavia Drink Station was launched in 1984 in England. The Flavia system was introduced in the U.S in 1996.

In the U.S, Flavia offers four different drink stations: one for use at home and three for serving hot beverages in offices. The patented system uses a Flavia Drink Station plus individual “filterpacks” (small foil envelopes) to brew coffee, tea and hot chocolate, one cup at a time.

Flavia differs from other one cup brewing systems because all its hot beverages are sold under the Flavia brand name instead of offering its drinks from recognized gourmet coffee roasters and/or tea blenders.

In total, the per-cup cost of coffee brewed by a single cup coffee maker is more than if you brewed a pot of coffee at home, but less than buying a cup on the way to work.
